Due to high demand from fans, Arde Bogotá's concerts in Portugal will be held in larger venues. The Lisbon show has been moved from Lisboa ao Vivo to Sagres Campo Pequeno. This change comes as tickets for the initially announced concerts sold out quickly, allowing more fans to see the Spanish band, one of the most acclaimed at the moment. In Cartagena, a city more acclaimed for the murmur of the sea than the roar of distorted guitars, a rock & roll band bursts forth. Formed by Antonio García (vocals and guitar), Pepe Esteban (bass), Jota Mercader (drums), and Dani Sánchez (guitar), the band didn't come to follow rules, but to rewrite them. In 2020, while the world stopped, they accelerated. Their first EP, El tiempo y la actitud (Sony Music, 2020), was an early success. With intense lyrics, raw energy, and a dark yet relatable aesthetic, the group began forging a sound that is now instantly recognizable: rock with soul, with blood, with poetry. A year later they released their first album, La noche (Sony Music, 2021), and with it, the light shone. The album was a resounding success, entering directly onto the sales charts and quickly achieving gold status. Considered by many to be one of the best albums of the year, La noche presents itself as a conceptual work about youth, anger, desire, and the emptiness left by the constant search for meaning. Their tour throughout Spain sold out in every city, transforming each concert into a collective ceremony of electric catharsis. But what seemed like the climax was only the beginning. In 2023 they released their second album, Cowboys de la A3 (Sony Music, 2023), and the flame was ignited. Double Platinum and number one in sales. In this modern epic about the hopes and contradictions of a generation trapped between highways, screens, and dreams, the journey becomes the destination. The album is a breathtaking mix of alternative rock, epic lyricism, and brilliant production. Their musical maturity was enthusiastically celebrated by critics, and the public responded with passion: sold-out shows at venues and festivals throughout Spain and Latin America. This evolution and the strength of the project allowed them to collaborate with artists such as Enrique Bunbury (La Salvación) or Dani Fernández (Sin vergüenza), as well as producers like Carlos Raya, Alizz, and Lalo Gómez-Vizcaíno. Recognition came early: Ondas Award 2023 (Musical Phenomenon), nominations for the 2023 Latin Grammy Awards (Best Rock Album and Best Rock Song), 2 Odeón Awards 2024 (Best Rock Song and Rock Revelation Artist), and 6 Spanish Music Academy Awards 2024 (Artist, Album, Song, Rock Album, New Artist, and Best Rock Song). They have also received other awards such as Cartageneros del Año 2023, the Palomas Tourism Award 2025 from the Region of Murcia, and the most recent Castillete de Oro 2025, the highest recognition from the Cante de las Minas de La Unión Festival. Their concerts are true contemporary rock ceremonies, as evidenced by the more than 150 shows they have performed to date, as well as their memorable performances at festivals such as Mad Cool, Sonorama Ribera, or on tours in the USA and Latin America at festivals like Vive Latino, Lollapalooza, and Estéreo Picnic. Arde Bogotá is not just a band; it is the voice of those who refuse to surrender, of those who still believe in the power of art to awaken. Their songs reflect uncertainty, the beauty of chaos, the desire to escape, but also the hope of finding something—or someone—at the end of the road. Their lyrics don't seek to teach lessons; they are a shared feeling, a shoulder to lean on. Every riff, every verse, every explosion on stage is a declaration: rock is more alive than ever, and they will continue to prove it.
