Mumford & Sons have joined PLUS1 to support the War Child organization. For every ticket sold, €1 will be donated to help War Child protect, educate and defend the rights of children affected by war.
Regarding the band's return, Rushmere is where it all began for Mumford & Sons. The lake, located in Wimbledon Common, southwest London, was the meeting point for Marcus Mumford, Ben Lovett and Ted Dwane, where they first conceived the idea of forming a band. Rushmere is as familiar to them as the instruments they played and is at the heart of their origin story.
RUSHMERE marks the beginning of a new phase for Mumford & Sons, after an intense period of creativity for the trio. The album was produced by nine-time Grammy winner Dave Cobb and recorded at RCA Studio A in Nashville, Savannah, Georgia, and Marcus' studio in Devon, United Kingdom.
The band, beloved by the Portuguese public, will perform at Sagres Campo Pequeno on November 25th of this year, with an unmissable show.
